Making fresh juice at home is a normal part of life at my house, and this simple Carrot Juice recipe shows up quite often. Made with just carrots, celery, and filtered water, this tasty and nutritious beverage is a wonderful way to start your day. Here I share three ways of making the juice – in a juicer or in a blender!
Benefits of Carrots
- Help Promote Healthy Vision:
- Aids Weight Loss:
- Improves Skin Health:
- Helps Improve Immunity:
- May Support Heart Health:
- Digestive Health.
- Diabetes Management.
- May Help Bones.
Carrot juice is incredibly nutritious, providing potassium, several carotenoids, and vitamins A, C, and K. Drinking this veggie juice may help improve eye health, boost your immune system, and strengthen your skin. However, more extensive human research is needed.
Drinking carrot juice daily can give you many of the antioxidants needed by your body. These antioxidants help prevent free radical damage and assist with inflammation. By consuming it, your skin is cleansed from inside and applying it on the face removes the marks from your skin. Regular consumption of carrot juices lightens your skin tone.
Fresh Orange Carrot Juice offers many health benefits. Orange juice is loaded with Vitamin C and carrots give lots of beta-carotene, as well as B-vitamins, potassium, and other minerals. Beta carotene does wonders for the body and helps to fight off disease-causing free radicals. OJ is a wonderful combination of sweet and tart, leagues ahead of any ‘from concentrate’ option. When combining carrot and orange juice, you get the sweet and more citrus flavor combined with the light, refreshing, and still naturally sweet carrot flavor.

Prep Carrot juice:
1. First, rinse the carrots very well, dry them with a clean kitchen towel or allow them to drain naturally, and peel them. After they are dried completely and chopped. Blend until smooth and fine, making sure there are no visible chunks of carrots left. Place a bowl below a fine mesh strainer. Pour the blended carrot mixture onto the strainer to strain the juice.
variations:
- Oranges – If you prefer a sweeter carrot juice, try adding some oranges or grapefruit to the mix! Their bright, tangy, and sweet flavor pairs beautifully with carrots.
- Ginger – Carrots and ginger make for a zingy combination that is tantalizing. Fresh ginger root is preferred, but you can also use powdered ginger if it is all you have on hand. Just note that the particulates in ground ginger will settle more quickly than freshly juiced ginger root.
- Add herbs or spices like basil, mint, coriander leaves, or cinnamon
- Sweeteners – Depending on the flavor of your carrot juice, you may wish to add sugar or honey.
The bottom line. Carrot juice is incredibly nutritious, try my different recipes and enjoy your day in a healthy manner. Kids also enjoy this drink.
In this recipe post, I’ll show you how to make carrot juice using a juicer (which is by far the easiest method), as well as using a blender. I just wanted to make sure that you could make this healthy yumminess at home, no matter what kind of equipment you have!
