How to make Cauliflower Masala Fry Recipe

  1. First Cut the cauliflower into medium sized florets, Boil water and add 1 tsp salt, ¼ tsp turmeric.

  2. Add cauliflower to the boiling water and switch off the flame. Let it be aside for 10 mins.

  3. Wash thoroughly in running water. Then transfer them to a colander to drain. Set them aside.

  4. Now prepare the masala paste. For that in a mixie jar add pepper, fennel seeds, garlic cloves & chili powder.

  5. grind like fine paste using 2-3 tbsp. of water.

  6. Heat the pan with oil.

  7. once the oil is hot add mustard seeds, let it splutter.

  8. Then add curry leaves & silt green Chilli.

  9. Add chopped onion, along with add required salt. Sauté it until until turns transparent.

  10. Then add cauliflower without water.

  11. Add fresh masala paste also with 2-4 tbsp. water. mix it well.

  12. Cover & cook in medium flame until cauliflower & masala cook well.

  13. once the cauliflower cooked well add 2-3 Tbsp. Idli milagai podi Or paruppu podi(Lentil powder).

  14. Stir it well for about 2-4 minutes.

  15. Finally add chopped coriander leaves then switch off the flame.

  16. Serve with freshly cooked rice

Note

  • Instead of cauliflower you can use potato or mushroom.
  • You can use all type of Idli milagai podi.
  • Also you can use lentil powder(paruppu podi)
