Bread chili or Masala Bread is a simple, tasty, and flavorful dish adapted from other Indo-Chinese chili recipes. Bread chili is made in 30 minutes quick snack dish that requires a few ingredients available in our kitchen. This dish is perfect for a kid’s lunch boxes, evening snacks, or even breakfast. Chili bread is just another variation of chilli parotta that is popular in restaurants. There are other bread snack recipes from international cuisines like bread French toast, bread pudding, bread sandwich snack, cheesy bread, if you have leftover Italian snack bread, and so on. Bread snack recipes are loved by kids, adults and it takes only a few minutes to make a perfect flavorful twist to taste buds. Chili bread is just another variation of chilli parotta that is popular in restaurants. First toast the bread slices in oil until golden, set aside. A basic sauce is made along with garlic, onion, capsicum along with red chilli powder and tomato sauce. finally add the toasted bread pieces and toss well. Finally, garnish and ready for serving.

How to make Chilli Bread Recipe

Off On

  1. Heat a pan with oil.


  2. Add bread slices and toast till both sides of bread turns crispy.

  3. Heat a pan with oil.

  4. Add cumin seeds and allow it to splutters.

  5. Add grated garlic and ginger.

  6. Add slitted green chilies and red chilies. Sauté for 1-2mins.

  7. Add finely chopped onions sauté until raw smell goes off.

  8. Add roughly chopped tomatoes.

  9. Sauté until it turns soft and mushy.

  10. Add chopped capsicum mix well.

  11. Add red chilli powder, Kashmiri chili powder sauté well.

  12. Add salt and Tomato Sause and sauté well.

  13. Now add roasted bread pieces. Mix gently in low flame.

  14. Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.

  15. Hot Bread chili is ready to serve with hot coffee for one evening snack.
