  1. Heat the pan with 1/2 Tsp Oil, then add crushed garlic .

  2. Roast the garlic until crisp & golden golden color.

  3. Once it turns golden color transfer to the plate

  4. In same pan add Urad dal, roast until turns golden color .

  5. Then add grated coconut fry it in medium flame until turns golden color(like a koparai/dry coconut)

  6. Now add little oil add coriander seeds, fry for few minutes then add red chilies, cumin seeds & asafetida

  7. Roast another few minutes in medium flame.

  8. After cool down first Coarsely grind dal, red chili, coriander seed & cumin seeds & salt.

  9. Then add garlic & coconut ,again grind like a coarse powder.

  10. Yummy garlic podi is ready to serve.  Serve with Idli/dosa/Paniyaram.

Note

  • Store it in air tight box up to 5 days outside ,Refrigerate up to 15 days.
