Dry Garlic Chutney Powder is the perfect spice powder that you need to keep in hand if you are a garlic lover. A little sprinkle on any dish and it absolutely jazzes the flavor of the dish.
How to make Garlic Idli Podi Recipe
Heat the pan with 1/2 Tsp Oil, then add crushed garlic .
Roast the garlic until crisp & golden golden color.
Once it turns golden color transfer to the plate
In same pan add Urad dal, roast until turns golden color .
Then add grated coconut fry it in medium flame until turns golden color(like a koparai/dry coconut)
Now add little oil add coriander seeds, fry for few minutes then add red chilies, cumin seeds & asafetida
Roast another few minutes in medium flame.
After cool down first Coarsely grind dal, red chili, coriander seed & cumin seeds & salt.
Then add garlic & coconut ,again grind like a coarse powder.
Yummy garlic podi is ready to serve. Serve with Idli/dosa/Paniyaram.
