Easy and Delicious Veggie Sandwich Recipe – Make it at Home | Gomathi Kitchen

This Cheesy Veg Sandwich recipe is an outcome of the cravings I had when I wanted to have something cheesy and filling and not to mention healthy as well

There are 3 main components of a sandwich: the bread, the spread, and the filling.

The bread is actually the most vital part of a sandwich. This is important for a variety of reasons; perhaps the most important one is its ability to absorb liquid. If you have toppings like condiments and tomatoes that tend to get soggy, the right bread will absorb it and make it a non-issue.

The spread, we use green chutney for sandwiches. Green chutney is one of the healthiest & is used often in Indian cuisine. This chutney aids digestion & enhances the taste, aroma and nutrition of any dish.

Chaat Masala: An important ingredient is the Chaat masala powder or Sandwich masala. Chaat masala is a tangy flavorful spice mix that is often sprinkled on Indian snacks. You can easily find chaat masala online or any Indian grocery store if you live outside India.

As you probably already know chutney goes extremely well with cheese, especially with our flavours! We’ve created our top 3 pairing of chutneys and cheese below: Caramelised Onion which is just truly delicious.

Mayonnaise has high Vitamin E content which keeps the heart strong and healthy and prevents the occurrence of a stroke. Mayonnaise rich in Omega – 3 has substantial benefits for the heart.

The filling gives the sandwich its name. Fillings could include meat, poultry, fish, eggs, cheese, vegetables. sliced cucumber and tomato are all popular fillings. The filling could be a single item or a combination of several.

Butter provides a rich flavor. Butter is an ideal moisture barrier. If you have to make and pack a sandwich, butter can keep the bread from getting soggy from sandwich ingredients like tomatoes. Save the unsalted butter for baking.
