Milagu Adai is one of the popular karthigai Deepam recipes which is very simple to make and is also so healthy. The method for making this is similar to the normal and usual Adai but the taste is different the flavor of the pepper .This Milagu Adai a special and Nutritive breakfast suitable for all ages.
Its really simple but had an amazing flavor of pepper and jeera that goes well with the rice. For the little variation Instead of rice you can use millets too.
In winter & rainy time my mom mom make this for dinner. Serve with jaggery powder or Thick coconut chutney.

Karthigai milagu adai recipe a savory adai made for any occasions especially for Karthigai Deepam.
First soak rice with all other dals together in water for 2 to 3 hours, Set aside.
After 2 hours in a blender jar add soaked dal & rice with water .Grind like a little coarse batter like a dosa batter.
Now add required salt, cumin powder & black pepper powder. Grind using pulse mode/wiping mode for few minutes.
Now transfer the batter to mixing bowl .Add chopped curry leaves .cover & keep aside for minimum 2 hours then make adai/Dosa.
Now heat the dosa tawa make adai with a ladle full of batter over hot tawa and sprinkle little ghee , Cook both sides in medium flame until done. You can smear little oil after flipping.
Yummy & Tasty milagu adai /dosa is ready to serve, Serve with jaggery powder or Thick coconut chutney.
