Here is how to make perfect onion samosa at home.
Onion samosa one of the most common crispy samosa recipes easily available in college canteens, railway stations and even in parks. i have prepared the sheets with wheat and all purpose flour, which makes it more healthy compared to pastry sheets. alternatively, the sheets can also be prepared with just all purpose flour. If you are very busy just use samosa sheets from the stores. These onion samosas are best eaten piping hot. On cooling they may a turn a bit hard and chewy. Now if you are tempted but not sure about the hygiene or ingredients go into the street side ones, you can easily make onion samosa at home. Though the recipe is a bit lengthy, it is fairly straight forward.

How to make onion samosa recipe

First prepare the samosa sheet for that take a large bowl with Maida & wheat flour

Further add salt to taste. then crumble the dough.

Add water then knead to smooth dough and rest. add 2 tbsp. of hot oil over the dough.

Keep aside the dough for about minimum 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Further, start to roll with a rolling pin as thinly as possible.

Put the sheet on hot tawa and roast for just 10 sec on both sides.

Cut the sides and get to a perfect shape

Next we have to prepare the stuffing for that in a large mixing bowl take sliced onions ,Chilli powder, turmeric powder, chopped curry leaves ,coriander leaves , salt and poha. mix it well.

Prepare the Maida paste for sealing the samosa edges.

Firstly, start folding the samosa sheet into triangle and stuff the stuffing and seal with Maida paste

Heat the pan with oil

Deep fry to golden brown.

Serve with hot tea.

- firstly, roll to a thin pastry sheet to get crunchy samosas.
- furthermore, add chilis to make samosa spicy and tasty.
- additionally, stuffing's of your choice to make it more easy and tasty.
- also use pastry sheets / patti samosa sheets instead of preparing it.
- finally, double fry onion samosa to make it more crunchy and golden in color.
