First cook the potato , I prefer to cook the pan instead of pressure cooker. Heat the pan with water with required salt & potato.

Cover & cook in medium flame until potato cook well ,Not mushy.

Now the potato cook well ,strain the water ,keep the potato aside.

Now Heat the kadai with oil. once the oil is hot add crushed fennel seeds & red chilis.

Add chopped onion ,curry leaves & chopped garlic , Fry onion till transparent. While sauté add green chilies too

Now add ginger garlic paste , Sauté until raw smell goes off.

Now add chopped tomato with required salt , sauté until tomatoes cook well.

In this stage add turmeric powder, Red chili powder , Coriander powder , Kashmiri red chili powder. Sauté until masala smell goes off also oil separate.

Now add water mix it well , Then cover & cook another 5 - 8 minutes .

Once the masalas cook well add boiled potato & garam masala powder. Mix it well .

Cover & cook another 4-6 minutes .

Finally add chopped coriander leaves then switch off the flame.
