Wheat Tomato Dosa | Instant Tomato Dosa is a luscious breakfast dish general in south India. It is a twist to the regular tomato dosa. It is a healthy and appetizing dish. Tomatoes added to the batter brings a tangy tasty to the dosa. This recipe does not require any fermentation so, you can prepare it quickly. There are many variations of making this wheat flour dosa. My recipe makes for a crispy dosa and the texture is similar to rava dosa. This can be served as breakfast or as an evening snack or as dinner. Here I add fermented batter if you don’t have that one you can add curd. Get bored to prepare regular idli and dosa, you can try this once. Eye catchy flavorful dosa definitely all will like it. It can be served with coconut or any spicy chutney.

To prepare a paste, in mixie jar add rec chilli powder, garlic clove, chopped tomato and cumin seeds.

Grind in to smooth fine paste without adding any water.

Add Wheat flour, Roasted or unroasted rava, besan flour and fermented Idli dosa batter.

Mix thoroughly.

Add water to reach dosa batter consistency.

Keep aside this for 5 minutes.

Heat the dosa tawa.

Pour ladle full of batter to spread as thin layer in circular motion.

Sprinkle enough oil or ghee on dosa.

Crispy and spicy Wheat dosa is ready for serving.
Note
- You can use this batter, to prepare wheat adai, in that you can add some grated coconut and spread as little thick.
- You can add roasted or non-roasted rava.
- Add curd instead of fermented idli dosa batter.
