Egg Fry, also known as Masala Egg Fry or Boiled Egg Fry, is a spicy and flavorful dish made with boiled eggs coated in a blend of Indian spices and then shallow fried. It is a popular street food and breakfast item in India.

To make Egg Fry, boiled eggs are cut in half and coated with a spice mix made of cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, and salt. The eggs are then shallow-fried until crispy and golden brown on both sides.

This dish can be enjoyed as a standalone dish or served with roti or bread. It is a great way to add some spice and flavor to your breakfast or snack time. Moreover, it is a perfect travel box item that can be made in advance and stored in an airtight box in the refrigerator for days.

To get the perfect Egg Fry, it is essential to hard-boil the eggs for at least 10 minutes to prevent messy yolk and white mix. Additionally, sautéing onions until they turn deep brown, cooking tomatoes well, and adding ginger garlic paste to remove raw flavors are important steps to get the proper gravy consistency. Finally, mix the boiled eggs gently with the masala to avoid removing the yolk and creating a messy mix.

In conclusion, Egg Fry is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that you can enjoy anytime, anywhere. Whether you’re looking for a spicy breakfast or a quick snack, this dish will definitely satisfy your taste buds.
