The Tamil cuisine boasts a variety of spicy condiments, including the traditional Garlic Chutney recipe. This chutney is made using garlic and has a strong, sharp flavor that makes it an ideal side dish for morning breakfast items like idli and dosa. Unlike other traditional South Indian chutney recipes, this one is made solely with garlic and doesn’t have a coconut base.

Garlic is well-known for its health benefits, such as reducing blood pressure and cholesterol, and has even been shown to be effective in treating cold, congestion, and digestion issues. This spicy chutney recipe is unique and contains only garlic pods, onions, and red chilies, giving it a distinctive flavor and heat. It’s often referred to as “red chutney” due to the vibrant color of the chilies used in the recipe.

Overall, Garlic Chutney is a delicious and healthy condiment that’s perfect for spicing up your breakfast routine. With its simple ingredients and easy preparation, it’s a great addition to any South Indian cuisine lover’s recipe collection.
