Masala Pori is a quick and healthy snack that you can prepare in no time and this is an all-time favourite of my family. Masala Pori is a very common street food sold in beaches in India. It is a perfect after school snack for the kids that can be made in about 10 minutes. Loaded with fresh vegetables, this puffed rice snack is a great for all ages. Here I add only chopped onion and tomato, we can add grated carrots also. This is one of the popular street foods in the state of Karnataka and also in beaches in Tamil Nadu. It is a perfect after school snack for kids. It keeps them filled up well until dinner. This is also a very quick to make recipe. If you are looking for a low-calorie snack, this is definitely a great option. Most of us make baji/bonda or other fried items for an evening snack. But instead of deep-fried snacks, this masala pori would be better option.  Serve this by adding finely chopped tomatoes and onions with few drops of lemon juice. Add these moist vegetables just before serving or it may turn soggy. My husband is very quick in cutting vegetables, in weekends, he only prefers these kinds of snacks. In the same way he prepares masala peanuts, the only work for me is just clean and pressure cook the peanuts and I give to him, he’ll continue the rest of the steps. I don’t know my elder one also likes this masala peanuts and my younger one likes masala pori. So, these are the weekend snack for sure.
