Rava dosa or Soji dosa is very easy and simple to make, if you are looking for the quick breakfast recipe idea, you should try this Rava dosa recipe. Unlike usual dosa recipes, rava dosa batter not required any fermentation, you can prepare rava dosa in less than 15 minutes. So I usually add onions, ginger, green Chilli and some spices to the batter. At times I even add some chopped cashews. Addition of these ingredients makes the dosa more healthy and tasty.

How to make rava dosa recipe

In a large mixing bowl take 1 cup rava, 3/4 cup rice flour and 3 TBSP wheat flour.

Add Salt, black pepper, cumin seeds, grated ginger

Add green Chilli, curry leaves and yogurt

Add water and mix it well

Rest the batter for 5 minutes making sure the rava has absorbed water.

Mix well making sure the batter is thin watery consistency.

Add chopped onion in the hot tawa

Now carefully pour the dosa batter over very hot tawa and add coriander

Keep the flame low and cook until the dosa turns golden and crisp

Fold the dosa and serve rava dosa immediately with coconut chutney.
Note
- Make sure the batter is flowing consistency otherwise it will not be crisp.
- Additionally, you can add cashew pieces into batter.
- It taste good if you serve it hot
